Hello all from AL. Hoping to learn more about the best way to raise my flock. We’ve had a small flock of “wild” chickens for a while that someone gave us but now I’ve been hand raising some Brahmas.

I look forward to reading more of the site.

These are some of the brahmas and the blue Cochins. The wild ones don’t really do human interaction.

Those little ones aren't going to be wild chickens! Maybe they'll show the older ones that you aren't going to kill them after all.
My new batch of chicks is far more interactive with me than my first. And each chick has one by one become unafraid of me by watching the others interact with me. Time will tell.
