Hello! I'm Julie.
Our family has 11 hens currently, 3 australorps (originally we were told they were jersey giants, I don't know for sure), 5 reds (not sure of the exact bread) and 3 wyandotte's. We have had hens for a few years now. They were all given to us around 6 months and are great egg layers, except for one hen. She's big red and just living her best life now.
We have recently bought another gently used coop from a friend, we love David's chicken coops in GA, and plan to get some jubilee orpingtons and a rooster today. I'm hoping that we will be able to have chicks and sell some. This is our first time having a rooster because I was against it originally. I'm excited to learn more!
