Hello everyone! I'm Erica and this is my 1st time raising chickens...I cared for 5 hens for my neighbor which made me completely overconfident. Now I'm here with 8, 10 week old chicks and I'm so confused at this point, I'm not even sure anymore if they're the breed they were sold as I bought them from our local tractor supply company and they were supposedly Americauna. My family is absolutely in love with our beautiful babies! We are very excited to learn all we can and glean from the knowledge here. Thanks so much for having us -Erica, John and Sam

Hi @Erica Stebbing . Welcome to BYC. You are gonna LOVE it when you get those pretty blue eggs. Do your chicks have puffy cheeks? That is a good sign they are Americauna's- but not always. If you need to,later on, when they are older you can post photos under " Articles" "What breed is this?" if you are still unsure.
