I got to say this looks like the place to be. I am 9 weeks away from retirement. My wife is a writer. I have raised literaly 1000s of chicks in my life. Wife is a life long chicken lover. She is also the best orphan wild animal raiser I have ever seen. We have no chicks at the moment but are waiting delivery of white rocks and black australorps. I don't know why I want to call them orstralops.

Maybe things like that is why they are giving me a retirement check. lol. Anyway, thanks for having me.

Glad to hear you are near retirement. I got my first soc check on the 9th of this month. Still got to work but can cut down to two days a week.

Not to much money in selling chickens and ducks right now but the are fun to raise and eat.

We got 75 white rock large fowl on the ground in Florida and friend has my old flock. Hope to get some old time Barred Rocks and R I Reds that I use to raise back down here again. What city do you live in. I live near Fair hope. bob
