We are new to chickens in our first year of chicken keeping. There are no vets her to specialize in chicken keeping so your site has been a lifesaver! We started with a flock of 24 - 4 roosters and 20 hens. We know have 2 roosters and 18 hens.

Hang out here long enough and you will know MORE than the vets! Honestly. Unless they are avian vets, many times they just don't know what to do for chickens. Hands on, and knowing your chickens accounts for a awful lot. Pretty soon you will know exactly what your birds have and what to do about it.
