Hello Everyone,
I was thankful to find this website when my husband and I decided to inherit some chickens back in Sep. 2012, and for some reason I never got around to introducing myself.
Getting to read everyone's posts, and look at your pictures has been wonderful. My mind has been put at ease so many times, and I know if I get on here I will find the answer I am looking for.
We still feel like we know nothing when it comes to chickens, but it has been an amazing 5 months so far. They are funny, smart, and quirky creatures and I enjoy watching them and taking care of them.
We have one Rhode Island Red named Scarlett, one Red Star named Mable, and one that I will need to post a picture of later because we are still trying to figure it out. Again, we took these chickens rather quickly because someone was moving and couldn't take them with her.
Any who, hello from beautiful New Mexico and I look forward to reading all of your wonderful posts soon!
