I just joined your forum today! I have been lurking here and there while trying to convince my husband that we NEED (tee hee hee) chickens!!
Mission accomplished! I purchased a coop and it will be ready this weekend. Hubby is going to be building a predator proof run for them.
I purchase all my meat and eggs from the Buena Park FFA. They have Rhode Island Reds that need to be re-homed so I bought 4 of the 24 available. There are 20 more if anyone around this area is interested before Sunday.
Looking forward to learning more and more about taking care of my new chickens. I'll be honest, a bit nervous because these creatures are new to me!
