i am a new egg. i live in Blue Ridge georgia. sometimes i live in atlanta too. i have two bantam hens that are going to be 5 years old this march. This spring, i will buy new chicks and will be building a new coop. actually, no, i will be begging my husband to build the coop and i will help.

i am an artist and illustrator. this year i am finally going to move to our rural home and really live there.

I wish I could move out of South Africa... I have been living here for my whole 15 years of my life!!!!!!

Anyway, we are happy that our family is expanding, and please, feel free to ask questions.

thank you!! how kind of you all to reply. i look forward to learning from all of you. i had planned to buy some hens from mcmurray but i dont think i am ready for 25! i like bantams, so i guess i will go to the feed and seed and take my chances with whatever. at least i can tell a polish crested baby when i see it. hahahahahaha
