Hello from another newbie!

They were Americuna and RIR mixes. This clutch had a Lavender Orphington Rooster and so many different hens I can't remember what they all were. Should be some pretty babies. I'm still working on the hubby, I figured with time and eggs he will come to appreciate them, : )

What color eggs do you get?? Oh wait are they laying ?

Most spouses come over to the chicken side once they actually have baby chicks around. Who could resist them?

We can always use another "greeter" here - hint, hint.

case in point:
When I first brought home the biddies, my husband wouldn't even LOOK at them. I'm not exaggerating! But just today (we've had them for about 7 weeks) he sent me a text "I love our chickens. They let me pet them. They don't run away from me."
Hahaha. Welcome to BYC.

I brought the Brahma downstairs for him to see how much she's grown. He was appreciative, LOL, but staying back. He loves me and he knows he will give in if he gets too close so he's being standoffish. It was actually pretty funny.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I am really enjoying myself!
