Hello from Arizona

I have actually been a BYC member for several years but have never introduced myself. I live in southeastern Arizona with my husband Dave and currently have 7 chickens, kept for both eggs and the endless entertainment and companionship that they supply! They include a retired RIR, Australorps, Wyandottes and Easter Eggers. The egg supply is more than enough for both of us, and the extras are sold to benefit our fund at my veterinary clinic that helps pets in need, making my chickens more valuable than just supplying eggs for us It has been a tremendously rewarding experience all around.
