Hello from Arizona

Hi!

I'm new to the board and to raising chickens. We're buying a house, and the city we're moving to allows chickens, so we're going to raise a small backyard flock, primarily for eggs. I'll be asking all kinds of questions as we get set up, in fact I've already started a thread.

Right now I'm in Tempe, will be moving to Mesa in about a month and a half. Mesa allows up to 10 chickens in town, and one rooster, but when aren't going to keep a rooster, in the interest of not annoying our new neighbors.

Its nice to see someone from AZ, even if we aren't in the same part.
