Hello from Arkansas... New to BYC

Have 13 chickens... They are about 16-18 week old Red Rhoad Islands. They were laying real good about 6 a day but now they have stopped... It has been raining a lot could this be why? What am I doing wrong? Do they need a perching log?

I think you mean roost bars - If they were laying so well before I doubt that their housing is causing them to stop now. If they are laying for the first time -it takes while to get all the kinks out of their egg machinery. All pullets of the same breed do not generally start laying at the same time.

They should definitely have a roost by now but birds that are 16-18 weeks old are still pretty young to be laying on a regular basis. Give them some time to fully mature.
