    I just joined this forum.
    I have free range chickens, muscoveys, ducks, geese, goats and Great Pyrenees dogs.
    I hope to learn alot here.

    I really don't know how to quote other posters, after years of forums.

    But Imp... that green box is right on.

    I have one little hen who is determined to lay her eggs inside my house, in the dirty clothes basket. She sneaks in, regularly. All it takes is a moment and she is inside.

    She marches outside the front door protesting, and first opportunity, she slips right past ya.

    I'm not sure which is the better guard animal the dogs or the geese!

    It is a petting zoo, and the animals are extremely tame, not like most free-range animals that are wild.

    The chickens fly up on the feeding bucket. Hey, we got 18 new baby chicks just the other day! They run all over our feet when we are outside!
