Hello from Arkansas

Hi Everybody!
I am so glad to be here. I stumbled upon this page while using Google images (i now know why some of my hens are missing wing feathers...darn rooster). I have 11 chickens total, 4 of which are Rhode Island Reds the others I'm hoping to learn more about from this site.
About me....I have 4 kids 2 step kids, 3 hound dogs 2pits, 6 completely useless cats and 2goats that live at the neighbors most of the time. My oldest son is showing 2of our hens in the county fair (about a month away) and I am showing our rooster. He is my profile pic, we call him Big Sexy. Lol
I absolutely LOVE our chickens!!!!! I'm just learning so please be patient with me if I ask seemingly stupid questions.
