Hi Everyone
My name is Liz and I live in Melbourne, Australia with hubby Dale, 2 adult sons - Russell and Tim and 6 chooks.
We have 2 old girls - Muffy a white silkie who is about 11 years old and Roadrunner an English game hen (we think) who is 8 years old. Then there are the new chicks - 12 weeks old. Torchick is a buff cochin, Chicholate is a barnevelder, Tiddlechick is a silver laced campine and Chickorita is a speckled sussex. Dale and sons have built an extension to the existing hen house and run so there is plenty of room for all and the new girls are settling in so very nicely - not too much hen pecking from the old girls, just enough to show who is the boss. I discovered BYC when I was thinking about adding to our very depleted flock and improving the facilities. I have already had lots of fun reading all over the site and am looking forward to participating in the chick-chat.
