Greetings and welcome to BYC! So glad you joined us. OK, so you want input and suggestions... My input is: plan your coop build for many more than what you start with. As others have already warned, it is an addiction this chicken collecting thing. Chicken math is real. My suggestion you've already taken the first step: Read, read, read here on BYC and ask questions! No question is stupid, lame, dumb, idiotic (well, maybe there are a few idiotic questions ), but if you can't search out or find the answer, why not ask? You don't know what you don't know... Maybe someone else does.

There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!
