Christie,
You said you didn't care what people think of your silkies, you love them. You are wonderful !!!!! You and your silkies are great. BYC is a great forum and no one judges anyonees birds unless asked to. That is for shows and fairs. Here we just all love our chickens !!! I have seramas, no mine are not show quality, but I LOVE them so much and each day they make me smile. WELCOME to BYC

I love them soo much.
italianchicksrule: Lily's symptoms are:
she stays away from the other hen and used to be all of my other chickens
she did get picked on a bit and is on the bottom of the "pecking order"
at feeding times i keep an eye on her a lot as my broody hen comes off of her nest and has a go at her and scares her, but i feel like ive done all i can and i just wanna know if it is anxeity or not.
but before I put her in with my first 3 silkies who are very close, she was always left behind, and always and still has been scared of my other hen who is currently gone broody.
After I had my second lot of hatchings at that stage it wasnt safe to have them outside in the coop with the hens, so i bought Lily inside with them. the day i put Lily back outside with the boys and Izzy( my hen) the boys i dont know how to word it, but they ripped out a heap of Lily's feathers near her tail feathers, but now she lets a long fine with them.
But I'm the only one in my family that can get close enough to Lily withhout her being scared.
I don't know if the previous owners of her treated her badly or not, saw her she wasnt looking the best so i took her in and showed her love.
