Hi guys!
My name is Porsh and let me start by saying that I am SUPER excited to be raising some chicks! I'm just going to follow the template, because I suck at intros.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
-Yes I am a first time chicken mama! I purchased my chickens a couple days ago @ 2 weeks old.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Two

(3) What breeds do you have?
A light Brahma, and a Golden Laced Wyandotte

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
While doing research on raising chicks

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm a crafter at heart. So I a sew, paint, cook, can, and preserve, and garden.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married with 2 kids. My step daughter is 9 and my son is 3. I am a chef and restuarant manager at an organic farm. I love the idea of having fresh eggs, and I cannot wait to see my babies laying!
