Hello everyone, I want to start of by thanking everyone who posts on the wonderful site, you have been more help than you could imagine.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, just started a month ago!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We started by purchasing four 8 month old hens,and 2 weeks ago we got 15 more chicks.

(3) What breeds do you have?
Right now only Rhode Island Reds

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Stumbled across you while search for info

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Too many to list but I am a amature photographer and Blacksmith.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We live in Alabama, I have 2 boys, 4 dogs, 2 cats 1 turtle and 18 chickens.

I'm looking to purchase some Black Copper Marans, If you have any that you would like to sell in central Alabama or knows of someone who does please let me know.

Congrats on the new chicks! We had Rhode Island Reds when I was growing up, LOTS of RIRs. LOL. They are a good bird.
