Hey everyone,
I am avid reader of many forums and have been interested in raising chickens. I am eager to learn and would be interested in getting chickens next year if the fit is right for me. Egg laying chickens is what I would want, and have grown fond of the bantam easter egger variety. I'll be reading and looking around tons before I even consider making a purchase. Thanks for all the great info thus far.

. I admire the look before you leap approach and learning before getting birds. I went the opposite route and found myself surrounded with baby chicks and realized I had no clue what to do with them!
