Well, here I am about to begin my voyage to becoming a "crazy chicken lady." I have never had chickens before, just parakeets and now an African Grey named Groucho. I can already feel the stirrings of a sick obsession, as noted by the fact I spend hours on here readings posts...Oi. I know there is no hope for me and that you all are a bunch of sick enablers...
but hey, that's hubby's problem now! Twas his idea in the first place!
I'm a sahm of 3 wonderful kiddies, Aria 12, Isaac 11 and Jake 9. They are really excited to be getting chicks as soon as they arrive at TSC, today or tomorrow. Don't know what they are getting in though.
It was my hubby's (Greg) idea to get chickens first. He wanted chickies and/or a beagle. Said OK to chicks yet some how ended up with a beagle.
So now, the chickies have become "my" thing.
Other than the kids, hubby and Groucho, we have 1 Akita Sadie, 1 rat terrier Gizmo, and 1 blue tick beagle Cooper. Spook is my black cat I found in the middle of the road late one night when he was still a teeny babe.
