1) Yes, we are new to chickens as of this month.
(2) We ordered 15 chicks.
(3) Black Australorps, Golden Laced Wyandotte, Salmon Faverolles
(4) I’m looking forward to the friendly companionship of this flock for our whole family.
(5) I enjoy gardening and studied botany for a number of years. I love studying the life cycles and functionalities of all living things, plant, microbe, fungi, and animal. We enjoy living in and learning about the modern world of scientific advances as well as how to do things simply before our time. I also love reading, discussing philosophy & politics, a good glass of red wine, and a dabble in couch detective style true crime.
(6) My husband and I currently have three children, two boys and one girl. I manage my area’s branch of a statewide farmers market. We have not had our own pets in years, our beloved old pups passed away one a year before the other and then we moved a lot until now. We always managed to find ourselves with other’s pets though anytime we had the chance.
(7) I wanted to build an excellent chicken coop, after googling for plans I found this marvelous place!
