I am excited to join this group! My family are purchasing a home in Bremerton, Washington and it comes with a chicken coop! I have never owned chickens and would like to gather information about keeping chickens for eggs. Thank you in advance for your patience as I learn all about chickens!!

Hi and welcome! We are all happy to help you get started! First thing you need to know: chickens are addicting. Plan your coop for how many chickens you think you want/ need, then double it. Then double it again! That will do for a start!
