Hi all, my name is Catherine and I got our first hens this year and was immediately smitten.
At the moment we have Bess a black Astrolp, Juliette a Silver Sussex and 4 Wyandotte chicks- they just hatched yesterday! We actually lost our little white cross earlier this year and we are sure that these lovely little ones will start to fill the hole she left
We are also incubating some Araucana eggs for my mother in law - they are her Christmas gift. We haven't told her that they lay colored eggs so she will get another surprise in a few months!
Can't wait to start reading all the interesting posts.
