Hi there and welcome!

I live on a farm in Erin, Ontario so we are practically neighbours. We haven't been keeping chickens very long, only since the spring but we have a dozen Red Sex Link that we got from a hatchery and a dozen Chantecler hens we got from a breeder near Guelph several weeks ago. We want to expand to about 100 next year -- layers, dual purpose & broilers. I'd be happy to let you know where you can buy supplies etc. and discuss different breeds with you that are suited to our cold climate. I don't know about the bylaws in Burlington but hopefully you would be allowed to keep some chickens.
