Hello everyone!

We got our first chickens in March and now the coop is done today! I am so excited they are spending their first night outside. We have four Barred Rocks and hopefully will get four more chickens next year. Their names are: Peepers, Rocky, Clucky, and Chicken Little (who is smaller than the other three of course). I am happy to be apart of this forum, especially since this is our first time having chickens. I'd love to post pics of our coop as soon as I figure out how..haha!

I don't know much on many of the breeds of chickens, but I did some homework before going with the Barred Rocks. From what I've read they are exactly what we wanted, but I'll have a hard time deciding what kind to get next year...there are so many!
