We live in the Ventura area. Its funny because some maps refer to us as So Cal, and some as Central Cal coast... We are looking to move further north down the road a bit, we keep inching away from the higher population areas. We would really like to get a little more land, but Calif prices are scary. =)

Yeah it's ridiculous the cost of living in CA. I know Ventura well, I grew up in Thousand Oaks.

Hey , I know this forum is old, but Mia if you are out there, I am in Oak View - so very close to Ventura! I have a bunch of laying hens, and a bunch of beautiful Silkies! Anyway, nice to see fellow Venturans out there!
