I might be interested!! I am picking up 2 RIR pullets this morning from a farm near Belleville and would be interested in the Barred Rock. I have heard that they are good with the cold tepretures up here....!! What would you be asking for them?? Do you have a limit or could I just get 4 or so??
 
I will let you kow as soon as the chicks hatch. 4 should be no problem at all. And yes, they are very good with the colder temps, I am a mile or so from the lake and we get very cold with wind, my girls have a nice coop but not insulated, I run a 60 watt bulb in the daytime and they suggle at night, have not had any prob with the cold. :)

The chicks are Plymouth Barred Rock are they not?? How exactly would we arrange to get them?? Would you ship them?? We originally are from Port Dover area and it is a long drive. I would be looking at possibly 6 now. I got my 3 RIR pullets yesterday and am excited. Let me know when they are born and what we might be able to figure out!
