. One of our chicks! I think this is Sunny! She comes right up to your hand. Still trying to tell them apart.

as long as you don't disturb their sleep, young chicks wear out fast. Sometimes falling asleep standing up. How long have they been going without pooping? You might post on the "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures" thread. Having pasty butt or constipation can be just as bad for them. Are any of them able to poo? I wonder if having some watermelon might loosen them up. They will love the sweet taste and get more fluid.

They are definitely pooping, but can't tell if ALL of them are, unless you watch them for a long time. Watermelon, huh? I'll try that. Can't find any this time of year here in Colorado, though. And will post on the emergencies , diseases thread. Thanks for advice !

The chicks are getting big and seem to be doing well!

[/IMG]. Got them outside this weekend! They loved it! I'm wondering now if they are outgrowing their garage home? And when do you move them to a coop? I know not for awhile , but should they be moved to a bigger area?
