Hello from Cedar Valley, Utah

Hi there, chicken lovers! I started keeping chickens in my backyard about 7 years ago, in a fit of self-sufficiency. I was quickly hooked. I just love sitting at my sewing machine at the window and watching my little flock go clucking past. I get such a feeling of contentment! I love when the little roosters first begin trying to crow! I am now on my third flock. Last week I got 20 Buff Orpingtons and 5 Auracanas from Murray McMurray. I am now firmly in the running for funnest grandma! My 10 grandchildren love feeding the chickens and gathering egss.
