Hi Everyone:

thanks for all the warm welcomes. I have a picture of what my coop is going to look like. I should have all the material tomorrow to start "easy" construction on my new little coop for the ladies. I dont know if you can tell but it has 2 doors on the front. One big one to allow me to cleam the coop easy and the smaller one for the ladies to come and go as they like during the day. It will be up on 2' platform and each side will have 4 nesting boxes. I will have 2 windows on each side with 1/2" square wire on them to keep out bad critters. I will attach a run to the front of the coop also to allow the ladies to kick it outside durning the day.

Now I just need a name for their home. My husband works for Gallo Winery, I work for a Credit Union as a loan officer and have a home based business as a consultant taking care of farmers government paperwork with USDA and sell Fed Crop Ins. My hobbies are fly fishing, riding my motorcycle, camping and going to Renaissance fairs. So with all that information I want to come up with a fun name for my little coop. any and all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
Janice

Give it awhile and the coop name will come to you. My big coop is "The Chick Inn" and my little [Bantam] is "Mini Coop R", the grow out coop which is currently the rabbit hutch is going to be "Little Deuce Coop" - assuming I ever get a broody hen
