Welcome! Glad you joined us. Chickens are a lot of fun, but it's best to be prepared, so you are doing the right thing by researching. Soooo many choices! That's partly what makes them addictive to so many BYCers. If you haven't already found it, CALIFORNIA The Whole State thread is a great way to meet other Californians and the first page also has a list for many other more local Ca threads. You can find folks in your area that are a good resource for advice and chickens. (I'm on the Bay Area and California- Northern threads) Hope to see you there and good luck!
