Hi, im new to BYC and I am currently looking for my first chicks. I have my mind set on silkie chickens. We had chickens growing up and now its my turn to raise my family with the same love and appreciation for these beautiful animals. I look forward to learning and growing with this community

there are several dedicated silkie threads on byc. My favorite is "The Silkie thread," if you put that in the search box it should come up and you can subscribe to it, and get info. from people who really know the breed. The other threads are by color ie, Buff silkies, only patridge silkies, etc. etc. there is even one on grooming silkies for show.
