Hello from Central FL

I am new to raising chickens in fact I haven't even raised my first one yet. I am going to try my success at raising some backyard chickens for eggs. I will be on here asking questions that some of the more experienced people can answer for me. I will be building my own coop and will be making a thread and posting pictures and plans for it. This site and forum has been a value to many questions and ideas. I can only hope to add to that. Thanks again BYC!!!

If you would like to chat up people from your area , go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum. Then you can locate and post on your state thread. Others can give you advice on what types of coop you need for the climate, etc.
