Hi, everyone! New to the community and having chickens. My name is Kristina, and on Mother’s Day my husband and 3 girls surprised me with our flock after hearing me constantly ooh and ahh over my cousin’s ladies for what I’m sure felt to them like eons. We have 8 various breeds (one we’re sure was mislabeled meaning a surprise golden laced Wyandotte for me!). They were suspiciously welcomed by 4 dogs.
In my free time I like casual flower gardening (but I’m dabbling in veggies this year!), making cold-processed soaps and reading.
I look forward to learning from everyone.
