Hello from Central Illinois

I was searching for photos of a couple of breeds that are arriving this week (yay!) and I found this site. We live on five acres out in the country with an ancient farm house. It's not much but it's ours!

I'm not a newbie chicken mom, but I haven't had babies in awhile. I can't wait to take portraits of them all. We are getting Araucanas, Buff Rocks, Mille Fleur, Blue Silkies, Buff Polish, and Barred Cochin. I probably won't sleep until they are safe in the little chicken condo.

I really looking forward to spending time here getting to know you all. I *heart* my feather friends and will post photo soon.
