Thanks everyone! I'm so glad to be here! I'm going to keep up my search for Jersey Giants!

If I can not find any local enough, can anyone suggest another breed? I'm looking for a large, cold hearty breed. I would prefer them to be semi calm, if possible. No crazy Polish Roosters like I remember as a kid chasing me up a tree. LOL!

Redsoxs, what a beautiful lab in your picture! I lost my best friend, Scooby, a couple years back. He was a chocolate lab. i'm still heart broken over it. Labs are great dogs!
