Hello from central KY (newby question injected on room as well)

Hello,
I am pretty new here and wanted to say HI from Versailles KY.

We started off with 5 Bantam hens ( One may or may not be a he) I'm still waiting to find out.

We have the bug now and intend to expand quickly but I really want to make sure they are comfy so we are postponing additions until I can research enough to be confident the housing is proper. I have never had to worry about spacing as granny had a barn as a coop.
