Welcome. I think the psychology of roosters is more important than hens. I think roosters have a lot more depth than hens because they have "jobs" that they take very seriously. I spend time every evening with my 3-roosters, talking with them, thanking them for protecting the flock, petting their bellies and ears and feeding them pecans.
