Hello BYC! I'm Laura - I'm a photographer in central PA. My husband decided that for my birthday this year, he would finally allow me the luxury of raising chickens! He built me an incubator recently, and I'm currently waiting on a dozen of silkie eggs. We we given 3 chicks in a brooder that we have no idea what breed they are. 
They are hilarious - we're having a blast pampering them, taming them and watching them grow and play. BYC has been a huge resource to me in these early stages, and it's nice to finally introduce myself.
