What type of predator's are you worried about keeping out?
Hi! I’m worried most about coyotes and raccoons currently. I know we have both in the area. We also have a quite a few stray dogs that I’m afraid would want to “play”.

Ok, Anyway to keep your hot wire fence on the outer perimeter of your property versus trying to figure out a way to just hot wire your portable chicken tractors?

I use electric fence and just thought it might be a little user friendly to run the hot wire this way over having to mess with it every time you go to move your tractors. unless I am not understanding ?
