I got my first chicken in July 2012...neighbor gave her to us.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 18 chickens: 5 adults and 13 eleven week-olds; an incubator full (in first week), and a broody hen sitting on 7 eggs.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Easter Eggers and Buff Orpingtons; incubating Red Stars.

While searching the internet for duck, guinea, and chicken care
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, cooking, embroidery, and cross stitch

Married to my DH for almost 27 years; 1 daughter, 1 son, a great DIL and SIL, one granddaughter; 2 house cats, Dachsund/Yorkie mix, GP pup (flock guardian), 2 guineas, 2 Khaki Campbells, 4 pied Muscovies: 2 adults/2 babies. I'm a housewife and part-time caregiver to my granddaughter.
