Hello from Checkpoint Chickie

Hi! I am Julie in Charlotte, NC. Our coop was a Covid project and an effort to support my husband's beehives. We have ten chickens now: two barred rocks, one buff Orpington, two black Australorps, one Welsummer, two Welbars and--just added as of a week ago today!--one Easter egger and one olive egger. Scott and I are thrilled to find this site. We haven't had much luck with vet care and chicken support in this city and we are stumbling along, doing the best we can to care for the Girls! I look forward to being a part of BackYard Chickens!
