Well silkies are bantams, so they only count as half a chicken - see you don't have as many as you thought. Besides you probably will have some that will make excellent broodies and then you can have an egg & chick business. Or get your neighbors started with chicks, so no one will complain about your flock.

Thank you everyone! Thank you Drumstick Diva. You made me feel better. I was thinking of perhaps selling some eggs and maybe even selling my silkie chicks but I just don't know how to get started. You have any advice?
