Welcome to BYC from Wisconsin. I would say stick with leghorns if you want max eggs but others may have suggestions.

One of my brothers has a cok. A lot it times he straightens out his neck and gets really nasty. He has some hens that are less mellow. I wish he would control his buckeyes more. At least he likes chickens. One of my brothers hates chickens!
