Hello hello! My name is Michelle, and after many years of tossing around the idea of getting chickens, it looks like it is going to happen this spring (yay!). I'm looking forward to learning all that I can. In my neighborhood, we are only allowed to have a max of 6 chickens (no rooster). I'm a preschool teacher (who knits, crochets, quilts, plays computer games, and loves to read), I homeschool my oldest child (and my youngest child is a social butterfly who never stops), we have dogs, and we foster dogs, so my house is always already crazy. :-) We also have woods behind our house and the coyotes are very active back there. My chickens are going to be in a run full-time to keep them safe. I'm looking forward to learning all I can to be the best chicken mommy I can be. :-)
