@X2Farm - I realized the other day how rural Montara is when I said I was "going into town" to Linda Mar... One more Pumpkin Festival of tourists and clogged roads (and don't get me started on the jetty/Sam's Chowder House weekend pileup) and then we're gone!

Hey neighbor!! I'm a born & raised Bay Area local and we moved here to Manatee Co. (Bradenton) about a year ago. My wife was raised out here so when I lost my job we decided a change was necessary and would rather raise our kids out here. We too have just embarked on the adventure of chicken raising.
