Hello from College Park MD

Hi all-
I'm going to be getting some quail chicks in the very near future, so I thought I'd join this forum for information and help since I'm pretty inexperienced with them and I've never had any backyard birds before. My boyfriend has raised pretty much all the kinds of poultry imaginable, so I'm in good hands.

Other than that, I just finished up a Master's degree in Biology and took a job in the Baltimore/DC area. I study and work with birds, mostly physiology and endocrine stuff. I'm probably going to go to vet school at some point in the future but I'm also an aspiring farmer (livestock, not crops). I live with my boyfriend and a ton of pets (2 cats, 3 rats, 2 turtles, an iguana, 2 geckos and a ton of tropical frogs).

That's about it. Looking forward to learning lots of stuff from everyone here and sharing any knowledge that I have.
