I like going with form, so I think I'll stick to the suggested questions.
My wife and I are new to chickens. We received our first chicks June 12th. We had expected 4 but 5 arrived. We currently have an Easter Egger, Welsummer, Dominique, Black Australorp, and of course our happy mystery chicken - they are all about the same size just now, with one just a bit smaller than the others and growing fast.
Our local library had some great books and recommended BYC and so here we are. We tend a garden and play video games mostly. I'm a huge fan of cooking (and eating...), as well as, Warhammer 40k. We have a Chinese Crested and three cats. My wife stays at home and comes up with all kinds of fun things for us to do. I help companies build and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
We're excited for our chicks to become chickens and glad we have a place to share the journey.
