Hello from the western slope in Colorado!
I went to the stock show but didn't have any of my birds there. In fact after seeing the way the chickens were all done I was a bit disapointed. It was so sad to see so many chickens with horribly frost bitten combs. I'm sure you saw there was one poor roo who's whole comb was black leaving a small pink line along his head that wasn't,

There was a very pretty golden phesant there though!

Yeah, ZooNana, I saw that rooster you were talking about. Poor guy. Colorado has been waaay too cold lately! I was a little perplexed at the lack of organization of the show too. I was relieved at how well my girls held up. I'm not sure I'll be showing again, but it was a fun experience.
